The Roatan Jungle Horseback Ride and Island Tour is a unique and fun-filled way to spend your day on the Island of Roatan. Our tour guides were born and raised in Roatan, know the Island intimately, and our services offer the visitor an informative and exciting Island Tour of Roatan with some amazing scenery from Horseback in the hills.

The tour routes via the picturesque shrimping town of French Harbor. A short ride from here, we transfer from motorized transport to an entirely different kind of horsepower. Our calm and friendly Honduran mountain horses are typically smaller than many US breeds, and ideally suited to steep terrain.

Our guides will take on narrow hill trails into the jungle on horseback, and point out many of the interesting local medicinal tree and plant types, as well as wildlife indigenous to the island. With great viewpoints and photo opportunities, this is a lovely way to experience the flora and fauna of the island on horseback.

On returning to the ranch, you will be greeted by a complimentary chilled coconut to cool off and refresh, before boarding the transport for a short ride down to the last stop of the tour, the private Las Palmas Resort.

During your two-hour resort break at the Las Palmas Resort, you will have the use of the facilities including the beach, sun loungers, bars, & restaurant. Kayaks are also available at an additional cost. This tranquil resort is the ideal location to unwind, spend some time on a kayak, cool off in the oceam after your memorable Island and Horseback Riding Adventure.
