We also offer the Jungle Walkway Tour for those not keen on taking to the trees. A paved walking trail option, winding through the jungle and connected by eight different suspension bridges offering fantastic views.
The Jungle Walkway option is ideal for exploring the jungle and fauna and a great way to have fun while the rest of your group transverses through the Zipline above you.
Upon arrival, you will be expertly fitted with your harnesses, carabines, helmets, and gloves and receive a complete orientation. Expert guides will escort you through the jungle and across each section of this one-hour adventure, where you will be double-clipped throughout for extra safety.
This canopy zip line system comprises 14 platforms set high in the jungle and 13 separate ziplines ranging from 135ft to almost 1000ft long.
As you embark on your breathtaking journey, you will hear and see the jungle wildlife along the route, so keep your eyes and ears open. Spider monkeys, parrots, and vivid green iguanas are all residents of the jungle below.
Also, look for the tiny green hummingbirds that flourish on Roatan. Roatan has its very own species of Parrot, the yellow head, and you may be lucky enough to spot one of these endangered birds through the trees.
At the end of the tour, your host will offer you the option of returning to the ship or taking you via van to nearby West Bay Beach and the Simone Beach Club, where you will later be picked up for the return to your ship.
